NEW: 4th Degree Knight VHG

VHG represents the vertical and horizontal grooves that are in this recently designed and magnificent ring. This took the work of two of our boys who are top quality craftsman to create this design. One made the ring with vertical grooves only, and the other took it to another level and made one horizontal groove which gives this it's character. It is emblematic of the Degree for which it represents. The Spirit of the Fourth Degree Knight should radiat like the light reflecting off the uniquely sculpted ring. We could not figure out a name that would accurately represent the beauty of this ring, so we went with VGH. Sorry for the simplicity for such a remarkable ring. Yours Fraternally, Brother John

We started our business in our garage making stainless steel rings for our Masonic and Military Brothers who wanted an affordable ring that they could wear all the time. Over the years we have had requests from a number of Brothers who are members of both Masonry and Knights of Columbus. My Brother-In-Law and other close friends are 4th Degree Knights. We started making a couple of rings and it has evolved into a small, but nice collection from which to choose.

The total reason for our making rings is for those Brothers who come into our Fraternal organizations as young men often with families who cannot afford to get a gold ring, but still would like a nice ring that is not going to turn their finger green. Stainless steel is totally 100% Hypoallergenic and will never turn your finger green.

All I ask is that you provide a "recently verified ring size" since we cannot resize stainless steel. Please take the time to get a proper ring size and send me the absolute "best fit" size. I must have a quarter variance ability. Thus, if you order a size 10, then a 9.75 or a 10.25 are considered within tolerance and I will pass it in final inspection.

4th Degree Knight VHG

Once a candidate completes the First Degree ceremony on the lesson of charity, he is considered a Knight of Columbus and can participate in all council activities. First Degree members are encouraged to attain the Second and Third Degrees, which teach the lessons of unity and fraternity. Upon taking the Third Degree, a member receives full honors of Knighthood and is "Knighted."

Privileges of Third Degree membership include the ability to serve as a local council officer, and admission to state and Supreme Council business meetings. First and Second Degree members can attend the state and Supreme Council meetings, but they are not allowed in the business sessions.

Another degree open to members of the Knights of Columbus is that of the Fourth (or Patriotic) Degree. On February 22, 1900, the first exemplification of that degree was held in New York City. The ritual added patriotism to the three original principles of the Order: charity, unity and fraternity. Any Third Degree member in good standing, one year after the anniversary of his First Degree, is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups called assemblies. Fourth Degree members must retain their membership as Third Degree members in the local council to remain in good standing.
